Our curriculum is the PMCC (Professional Medical Coding Course) created by AAPC who also creates the national certification exams. Since the main purpose of the PMCC is to prepare the student for the CPC exam, there isn't a better curriculum to follow. In fact, PMCC students have a 30% higher exam pass rate than students taught from other curriculums. In addition, upon course completion, Integrity Healthcare Solutions is authorized by AAPC to eliminate 1 year of the 2 year Apprentice requirement for the CPC credential.

• Medical Office Administrative Assistant: This course prepares the student to obtain an entry-level position in a medical office setting. Students will develop written and oral skills as well as gain knowledge in office procedures and utilization of business equipment. • Medical Billing and Reimbursement: Introduces the student to the health insurance and reimbursement industry. In this course the student will become familiar with common medical billing practices, legal and regulatory issues and differences in reimbursement methodologies. The student will learn principals of medical billing related to proper claim form preparation, submission and payment processing. • Physician-Based Medical Coding: This course teaches fundamental coding skills for an outpatient physician setting and prepares the student to take the AAPC CPC exam for a career in medical coding. • ICD-10CM Training: Going into effect on October 1, 2015, ICD-10 coding will allow for a greater level of detail with its seven (7) alphanumeric characters instead of the 5-digit ICD-9 code set. This massive overhaul of the national coding system, going from roughly 17,000 codes to about 140,000, will be the most significant change to healthcare in decades.
